Symphony is best with food and drink

Kosters Trädgårdar (Kosters’ Gardens) holds this year no less than five evening concerts, and it offers in addition to a lush scenery all the conditions for a festival visitor to feel good, thanks to the Gardens’ eminent kitchen. All evenings with performances are an opportunity to buy a special concert ticket menu that provides access to a delicious organic barbecue buffet before the music begins!

Most of what is served is produced in the organic garden. It also offers vegetables, flowers and perennials for sale. The café is built around the concept “slow food”, which rests on three pillars: clean – fair – good. The raw materials are purchased as much as possible ecologically, completely fair trade and primarily locally. The menus follow the seasons and harvest. Facing the summer freezers are stuffed with lamb from the North Koster which will dominate the grill during the festival week.

Helena and Stefan von Bothmer, who runs the Kosters Gardens was this year elected “Tourist profile of the year” in Strömstad.
