Program Concept
Performances
The preliminary program will include symphonic works, chamber works, a custom made family show, free sunset concerts every evening, summer night concerts / festival pub as well as an art exhibition.
No less than 58 performances will take place during two weeks, from 20. July to 2. August 2009.
Family Show
Kosterfestivalen’s Family Show has always been an element of great importance. The shows, in the genre of musical theatre, are custom made every year to be performed at Koster during the festival.
The show is performed every day alternating between our stages at Munkekyrkan and at Kosters Trädgårdar.
The Family Shows are always very popular among five – year – olds as well as their parents.
Art Exhibition
Every year one or two artists are chosen to feature at Kosterfestivalen. The art exhibition is open throughout the duration of the festival in one of Kosters many art galleries.
